Busy bookworms heads north
Beginning in Term 3, 2019, Busy Bookworms will introduce a second venue for classes - St Michael’s Anglican Church in Carlton North. We are so excited to be bringing our classes to bookworms on the North side!
A whole new chapter for Busy Bookworms!
We're opening a new venue in Malvern! From Term 2 2018 onwards, classes will take place in St George's Church on Glenferrie Road. Our spacious new room has a beautiful leafy outlook and great facilities, with the convenience of onsite parking and a fantastic location close to many shops and cafes.

Story Time at The Leaf Bookshop
Looking for something to do with the kids on Tuesday mornings? Amy's Story Time at The Leaf Bookshop (just up the road from Ashburton Community Centre on High Street) is on every week at 10.30am, featuring a combination of some favourite Busy Bookworms titles, and some new releases. Occasionally the sessions are hosted by our friends Kate and Ebony, but most weeks Amy is on hand to entertain young bookworms with some awesome stories.

National Simultaneous Storytime
Very excited that our class on Wednesday May 24th coincided with National Simultaneous Storytime! We read this hilarious book along with hundreds of thousands of kids across Australia, and followed it up with some awesome crafts and activities - can't wait to do it again in 2018!
Ashburton Community Festival
The Busy Bookworms activity at the Ashburton Community Festival in February was a great way for kids to escape the frantic festivities outside, hear some friendship-themed stories and make gorgeous friendship bracelets!
